Botanic Garden Wedding Top Vendors

They say a picture is worth a thousand words and in this case, that statement could not ring any more true. In fact, the pictures captured at Briana and Dave’s wedding portray a celebration of love, happiness, family and unwavering friendships. Our Austin variety band, Uptown Drive loved this botanic garden wedding in Southwest Austin. We had a wonderful time celebrating together with a handful of Austin’s top wedding vendors and this great crew.

Get Down Tonight

It’s important to realize how OFF THE CHARTS this dance party was. To emphasize, from start to finish the dance floor was packed. As an Austin Texas variety band, Uptown Drive we particularly pride ourselves on our high energy dance show. It’s fierce, rehearsed and full of Austin’s top seasoned musicians. For Brianna and Dave’s wedding, we soared through the musical genres. For instance, we touched on songs from Motown, Soul, ’80s, ’90s, ’00s, country and today’s top 40. In short, we made sure to play a song or style for everyone. Our variety band was equally as entertained by the crowds dance moves especially the bride and grooms. So much energy and so much fun. It was a riot!

Important Moments

Amanda Pomilla Photography is an Austin based wedding photographer. She is a mastermind with her craft and the most compelling evidence comes from seeing her work. Moments that otherwise go forgotten, Amanda captures in detail with her candid wedding photos. Our Austin Texas variety band especially enjoyed seeing Amanda document the epic reception photos from the dance floor.

Equally as important in memory making is the wedding videographer. Briana and Dave selected Adam Grumbo Films to help remember their big day. Adam Grumbo Films is an Austin based destination videographer who focus’ on telling your story through the art of film. They were present and we’re sure to document every important moment.

Botanic Garden Venue

Briana and Dave chose the indoor event space at the Ladybird Wildflower Center as their wedding venue. Located in southwest Austin, Ladybird Wildflower Center captures the rustic beauty of Hill Country with its native plants and blooms. Recently named the official botanic garden and arboretum of Texas. The venue is the ideal spot for an authentic Austin experience. The indoor event space is made up of large windows, brick and lots of character.

ILIOS Lighting Design created the ideal ambiance with their mood lighting for the reception. The team at ILIOS are lighting specialists for concerts, corporate events, weddings, and beyond. To sum up, their work along with the venue alone was stunning!

Planners & Event Rental

What a treat it was to work together with Heavenly Day Events. This Austin-based wedding planning team specializes in full-service event planning. Not only is this team great at mapping out a wedding timeline but also at coordinating with the wedding vendors. We loved Heavenly Day Events for consistently being present, easily available, and incredibly kind.

The event rental was done by Premier Events, who are a family-owned event rental company. Their rentals added the necessary flair to the wedding. Another key vendor was Austin-based Stem Floral, who provided custom floral centerpieces and bouquets.

Savory and Sweet

Royal Fig Catering supplied all the fresh savory treats with custom appetizers and entrees. Every ingredient eaten is at the peak of its freshness because Royal Fig catering changes it’s menu seasonally. YUM! Hayley Cakes and Cookies made the bride and groom’s cake. They are an Austin based one of a kind bakery, who is extremely versatile and experienced in baked goods.

Happily Married

It was a fantastic wedding, to sum up. Our Austin Texas variety band, Uptown Drive was happy to share in such a beautiful memory for Briana and Dave. We loved working with such high-class Austin wedding vendors and look forward to working with them again. Cheers to an epic evening!
